Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload lumber and building materials.
  • Deliver lumber using a company 1-ton truck.
  • Perform frequent heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs).
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand/power tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist with basic carpentry or installation tasks as needed.

Expected Results:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of lumber types and wood sizes.
  • Accurate use of tape measures and hand tools.
  • Safe and timely deliveries.
  • Positive customer interactions and teamwork.

Skills Required:

  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)
  • Strong communication and punctuality.
  • Physical strength and stamina.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.

Qualities Required:

  • Must be insurable under company policy.
  • Reliable and safety-conscious.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Education Requirements:

  • No formal education required.
  • Preference for candidates with basic knowledge of wood types and measuring tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs).
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
