Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Transaction Management

   • Operate cash registers or POS systems to process sales.
   • Handle cash, credit/debit cards, checks, and digital payments.
   • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change.
   • Apply discounts, coupons, and loyalty programs.

2. Customer Service

   • Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries.
   • Resolve complaints professionally or escalate to management.
   • Promote store promotions and loyalty programs.

3. Cash Handling & Reconciliation

   • Maintain an accurate cash drawer.
   • Perform cash drops and end-of-shift reconciliations.
   • Report discrepancies immediately.

4. Inventory & Stock Support

   • Assist with restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
   • Inventory on merchandise, reporting low levels to management.
