Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing semi-trucks using certified scale systems
• Record weights and related shipment information into multiple tracking systems with speed and accuracy
• Perform routine math calculations quickly and confidently to ensure correct weight reporting
• Communicate professionally with truck drivers, vendors, and on-site staff from diverse backgrounds
• Maintain organized and accurate records and documentation related to shipments and scale operations
• Conduct routine office and administrative duties daily with a positive and professional attitude
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized office and scale house work area

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately
• Comfortable working on a computer and entering data with minimal errors
• Previous experience in office administration, scale operations, or trucking/logistics is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Self-starter with strong time management skills

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience working in a scale house, trucking environment, or logistics operation
• Familiarity with weight tracking systems, dispatch software, or logistics documentation
• Ability to manage tasks independently with limited supervision

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working in an office/scale house environment near industrial operations
• Ability to remain alert, accurate, and professional during steady workflow

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Occasional Saturdays required as needed (overtime possible)
• Hourly position
• Pay range: $14.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on experience
