Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, drivers, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails
  • Perform accurate data entry across internal systems and spreadsheets
  • Process accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, matching, and filing
  • Maintain organized records and administrative files
  • Follow instructions and established procedures closely
  • Support office staff and management with general administrative duties
  • Coordinate with teammates to ensure smooth daily office operations
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and office personnel
  • Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, team-oriented trucking environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an administrative, front desk, or office support role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounts payable or willingness to learn
  • Strong data entry and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and follow processes accurately
  • Comfortable with phones, computers, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Comfortable with trucking-related terminology and conversations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry
  • Familiarity with accounting or invoicing systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized
