Job Summary

The Bank Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately handling financial transactions. This role requires strong cash-handling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced banking environment. Tellers are expected to “get the job done” while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately handle cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments
• Count and balance cash drawers daily
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to bank customers
• Assist customers with basic banking needs and account-related inquiries
• Maintain accurate transaction records and follow banking procedures
• Perform basic administrative and clerical duties
• Follow all bank policies, security procedures, and compliance requirements

• Strong cash handling and money-counting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Basic knowledge of banking procedures preferred
• Administrative skills and professionalism
• Ability to stand on your feet for up to 6 hours

Work Schedule

• Hours vary
• Opening tellers start at 7:00 AM
• Closing tellers may work until 6:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
• Ability to handle cash and perform repetitive tasks
