Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking hardworking and dependable individuals for Municipal Mowing and Landscaping positions. Team members will help maintain city properties, parks, public grounds, and rights-of-way through mowing, trimming, landscaping, and general grounds maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and other landscaping equipment
- Mow and maintain parks, medians, public facilities, and municipal properties
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges as needed
- Plant flowers, trees, and other landscaping materials
- Remove debris and keep grounds clean and attractive
- Perform basic landscaping and irrigation maintenance
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team in outdoor environments
Qualifications
- Previous mowing, landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate lawn and landscaping equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical labor
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Municipal, parks, or commercial landscaping experience is a plus
