Express Employment Professionals is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter / Designer for a local company. We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate with AutoCAD, drafting, or design experience to create and update technical drawings and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
Job Responsibilities

Create and modify 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.

Develop and update blueprints, layouts, and technical drawings according to project specifications.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and functionality.

Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Make revisions to existing designs based on project changes and production needs.

Communicate with shop personnel to address design questions and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications

AutoCAD, CAD drafting, design, or related engineering experience required.

Vocational training, technical education, or relevant on-the-job training in AutoCAD or drafting required.

Ability to read, interpret, and modify technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

Knowledge of welding processes and fabrication is a plus.
