Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking Environmental Services Technicians to assist with maintaining a safe medical environment for patients and staff. The EVS Technician will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing multiple areas within a hospital.
Essential Functions
- Sweeping, cleaning, mopping, and scrubbing floors to meet hospital standards
- Ensuring bathrooms, are well maintained including cleaning toilets, basins, showers, and bathtubs
- Cleaning patient rooms and wiping down common surfaces
- Changing bedding and replacing linens
- Restocking supplies and linens for patients and staff
- Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Sanitizing operating rooms to ensure a sterile environment
- Performing additional janitorial duties as assigned
Pay: $15.00/HR
Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available
1st Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Saturday - Wednesday
1st Shift: 8:00AM -4:30PM Monday - Friday
2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:30PM Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Previous experience in Housekeeping
- Good Attitude
- Able to stand, bend, and move for long periods of time
- Able to Lift 50 lbs
- Good Communication Skills
