Position Title: Bank Teller
Location: Guthrie, OK
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $14.50 / hour
Schedule: Operating hours between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday – Saturday (Flexibility required)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused Bank Teller to join a premier financial institution in Guthrie. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for daily banking transactions, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure accuracy in handling financial records. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process routine financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and transfer requests.
Balance cash drawer daily and maintain strict compliance with established cash handling and auditing protocols.
Deliver professional, courteous customer service while answering inquiries and assisting clients with basic account services.
Identify customer needs and cross-sell relevant financial products or services when appropriate.
Verify identities, examine checks for endorsements, and detect potential fraud or discrepancies.
Maintain strict adherence to banking regulations, confidentiality policies, and security procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in banking, cash handling, or high-volume customer service preferred.
Strong basic math skills and high attention to numerical accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with computers, database entry, and standard office technology.
Ability to work flexible schedules within operating hours (6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday).
