Dog Daycare & Boarding Manager Trainee
Location: Edmond, OK
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift Options: Flexible availability required for either shift:
Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – Close (approx. 8:00 PM)
Starting Pay: $15.00/hour
Growth Potential: Opportunity to advance to $20.00 – $30.00/hour upon successful completion of the evaluation/training period (300 hours).
About the Role
Are you a passionate dog lover with strong leadership potential and exceptional customer service skills? We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated Manager Trainee for a premier dog daycare and boarding facility in Edmond.
This is a true "ground-floor" leadership path. You will start by learning the daily hands-on operations in the back of the facility—caring for, supervising, and interacting with the dogs—and progressively train across all operational and customer-facing positions to prepare for a management role.
Key Responsibilities
Pet Care & Yard Supervision: Monitor dog playgroups, ensure a safe and fun environment, maintain facility cleanliness, and assist with feeding and routine care.
Operational Learning: Master all daily operational procedures, shift routines, and facility protocols from the ground up.
Customer Service & Front Desk: Provide friendly, professional service to pet parents during drop-offs, pick-ups, and inquiries.
Leadership Development: Work closely with existing management to learn staff scheduling, client communications, and overall team leadership.
