Electrical Technician (E-Tech)Location: Yukon, OKPosition Type: Full-Time, Evaluation-to-HireShift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Regular weekly overtime available)Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 / hour (Dependent on Experience) Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Technician (E-Tech) to join a premier industrial engine and power systems team in Yukon. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, install, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring harnesses, control panels, and electronic components on heavy equipment and power generation systems. Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manual specifications. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, control panels, ECUs, and wiring harnesses. Perform installations and retrofits of electrical instrumentation, sensors, and power distribution systems. Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and specialized software to isolate electrical faults. Execute routine preventative maintenance and system testing on heavy equipment or diesel/gas engines and generators. Document work orders, diagnostic findings, and parts utilized accurately. Adhere to strict safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols. Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician working on heavy equipment, industrial machinery, diesel engines, or power systems. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in reading complex schematics, electrical troubleshooting, and standard wiring practices. Tools: Proficiency with digital multimeters, diagnostic equipment, and standard hand/power tools (must supply basic hand tools). Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods in a shop setting. Reliability: Strong problem-solving abilities, dependable attendance, and a clean driving record/valid driver's license.
