Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a local senior apartment community. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, groundskeeping, and assisting with the make-ready process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Routine maintenance, such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and appliance repairs.
• Addressing maintenance issues efficiently and professionally.
• Cleaning and maintaining common areas.
• Groundskeeping around the property, including some landscaping.
• Performing inspections and reporting to the facility manager to develop a plan.

Pay: $18/HR DOE

Schedule: 9AM-4PM. Requires on-call weekends for emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Proven experience working in maintenance
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to organize tasks and work independently as well as with a team
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Manual dexterity to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. above shoulders
