We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of 10-12 people, and ensure high-quality service and efficiency. SHIFT: Monday-Thursday, 5:30AM-4:15PM with some overtime and travel required.

PAY: $30-35/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises craft and trade employees, including daily work direction, scheduling, and task assignment.
Conduct regular performance conversations and provides timely, constructive feedback.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes in coordination with HR.
Administrative tasks as required for payroll reporting.
Oversee proper use, maintenance, and accountability of shop tools, and equipment.
Enforce company policies regarding tool handling, storage, and care.
Track inventory and communicates needs or deficiencies to the Division Manager.
Communicated work expectations, priorities, and updates clearly to shop employees on a daily basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing craft or trade employees in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Professional references required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Hands on knowledge of welding processes including MIG and TIG in a wide range of metals; certified welding credentials are a plus.
Experience with metal finishing processes including painting, abrasive blasting, graining, sanding, and powder coating; patina application experience is a plus.
Experience in decorative metal forming and/or forging is a plus but not required.
Proven ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive, high-performing team environment.
