Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Operator for a position in a climate-controlled shop. The ideal candidate can independently set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials.
- Enter or edit machine programs and make necessary offsets.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills.
- Ability to work independently from blueprints and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to hold required tolerances and produce quality parts.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as required.
