Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Pump & Motor Repair Technician for a full-time opportunity with a well-established industrial repair shop in Albany. This team specializes in repairing pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment that serve essential industries like agriculture, manufacturing, and municipal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues in pumps and motors

Disassemble and reassemble rotating equipment and components

Replace bearings, seals, gaskets, and other key parts

Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

Test repaired units for proper operation

Document repairs and maintain a clean, safe work area
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Mechanical experience preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

Ability to read manuals and schematics

Must be reliable, self-motivated, and a team player

Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
