Job Full Description

Role Description:

• Keep the plant clean by removing debris and dust around the material mix stands and pelletizers.
• Tackle general labor duties that are vital to plant performance and safety.
• Organize, prepare, and store tools and equipment to support smooth operations.

Lend a hand to the production team with a variety of tasks

 Work Environment:

This is an active role that involves being on one’s feet for most of the shift and moving between different buildings. The incumbent need to be comfortable with:

• Walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders or step stools
• Pushing, pulling, and handling materials and equipment
• Using hands and fingers for detailed tasks
• Talking, hearing, and using vision (near, far, peripheral, and depth perception)

• Incumbent should be able to:

  • Regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds
  • Frequently lift/move up to 40 pounds
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds

   

  This position is based in a plastics manufacturing environment, and requires:

   

  • Regular work near moving mechanical equipment and machinery

• ·         Willingness to work in a physically demanding and dusty manufacturing environment

  ·         Ability to communicate effectively in English.

  ·         Comfortable performing hands-on tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

  ·         Strong work ethic.

  ·         Attention to detail.

  ·         Dependable attendance and punctuality.

  ·         Ability to follow directions.

  ·         Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

  ·         Ability to conduct self professionally when interacting with coworkers, customers, and/or vendors
