Job Full Description
The Office Manager/Bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing daily office operations and managing all accounting and financial functions. This position ensures accurate bookkeeping, smooth administrative processes, and efficient communication between office staff, vendors, and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage daily office operations, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling

Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing

Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and budgets

Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports

Maintain accurate records of materials, sales, and vendor accounts

Support management with financial tracking and project cost analysis

Oversee administrative staff and ensure compliance with company policies

Coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed

Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:

Previous experience in bookkeeping and office management (2+ years preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Knowledge of construction or lumber industry preferred
