What You'll Be Doing
- Maintenance & Repairs: Respond to maintenance needs throughout the property, including both interiors and exteriors, to keep everything running perfectly.
- Hands-On Tasks: Tackle a variety of tasks such as replacing light bulbs, furnace filters, and foundation covers, resetting air conditioners, and conducting general repairs.
- System & Equipment Maintenance: Work on limited carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and preventative maintenance to ensure everything is operating smoothly.
- Inspection & Troubleshooting: Inspect rooms, units, and public areas, finding and fixing any issues before they become problems.
- Inventory & Coordination: Manage maintenance supplies and collaborate with contractors for larger repairs.
- Record Keeping & Communication: Use computers to track maintenance activities, communicate across teams, and manage billing for maintenance services.
- Other Duties: You’ll be asked to step in where needed to help keep the property looking pristine and everything functioning at its best.
What We Need From You
- Maintenance Expertise: Solid knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting—your skills will be put to work every day!
- Physical Stamina: Be ready to stay on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds regularly, with the occasional heavy lift of up to 100 pounds.
- Problem-Solving: You can quickly identify issues and find effective solutions, all while keeping things running smoothly.
- Independence: You can manage your own workload, troubleshoot problems, and get the job done without constant supervision.
- Communication Skills: Clear communication is key—both with the team and with guests when necessary.
- Customer Service Focus: You’re dedicated to making sure everyone has a positive experience by keeping things in top shape.
- A Driver’s License: Must have a valid Oregon Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
