What We Do!
DIGISTOR provides solutions for securing Data at Rest (DAR). DIGISTOR products include FIPS-certified secure, self-encrypting SSDs, industrial-grade flash storage products, and digital-video storage solutions. DIGISTOR proudly serves customers such as the Department of Defense, Federal agencies, major OEMs, law enforcement, and other global customers. 

Our encrypted SSDs and other hardware components are installed in PCs, workstations, and servers to play a key role in information security and securing DAR, from the tactical edge to the PC client to the data center. Understanding complete data security workflows is essential to our success.

What You Get to Do! 
The Application Engineer works closely with customers, product, sales and engineering to understand market needs and applications, innovate with new products and services, and deliver for our customers across our range of secure data storage solutions. 
We are seeking an Application Engineer with a strong technical background, customer-obsessed mindset, and experience with government and defense IT environments, regulations, and requirements. You will be a key person in assisting our sales team secure both near opportunities and potential applications we can grow the business in. The Application Engineer will: 
•    Be the trusted technical advisor to support both short term and long-term opportunities.
•    Demonstrate deep insights into customer applications, user workflows, regulatory requirements and competitive landscape. Including FIPS, CSfC, NIAP C
•    Learn quickly by experiencing our products hands-on. 
•    Train our sales teams and channel partners on product features and applications on an ongoing basis.
•    Share knowledge with our teams and partners by building content for blogs, marketing collaterals, videos, webinars and datasheets that support the product positioning in the market.
•    Be the voice of the customer, clearly articulating solution and process gaps, proactively recommending solutions.
•    Be a liaison between customer and marketing, engineering, and sales departments to improve the performance of products. 
•    Manage our product customization or extension requests and drive them to completion in a timely manner that aligns with customer expectations. 
•    First line of communication with any field issues in the region. 

What You will Bring…
•    BS degree (or equivalent) in a technical field  
•    A minimum of three years of relevant work experience (engineering, product management, applications engineering, technical sales)
•    Past military experience or service a plus
•    DoD 8570 Level II, System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or equivalent CompTIA Security certification(s) a plus
•    Experience with the government and defense IT market
•    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
•    Active security clearance desired but not required
•    Capable of travel both domestically and internationally up to 40%
