Job Overview:
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for transporting goods to customers and vendors using a company vehicle. When not driving, you’ll assist in the shop with general maintenance and support tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and mechanically inclined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to local customers and vendors.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and maintain timely schedules.
- Load and unload deliveries (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs).
- Assist with general shop duties and upkeep.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work around shop machinery (e.g., lathes) with care and attention to safety.
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment with machinery.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Must be available through the end of summer.
- Potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs (not guaranteed).
Schedule:
- Part-time hours with flexible scheduling.
- Must be available for extended driving shifts and shop work during downtime.
