The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend seeks an experienced, strategic, and mission-driven leader to serve as CEO. 

Who We Are!
Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend (BGCB) aims to help youth reach their full potential by providing a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. We are growing!  BGCB has two locations and serves over 300 families annually.  We have grown our revenue over the past three years by over 50%.  We offer a variety of programs, including after-school care, summer camps, and special events. The club's programming emphasizes academic success, healthy lifestyles, character and leadership development, and community involvement. We are funded by a combination of sources, including program fees, individual donations, foundation grants, corporate contributions, and state and federal government support. BGCB is actively involved in the Bend community, partnering with local schools, businesses, and organizations to support youth development.  Learn more about us at: https://bgcbend.org/  

What You Get to Do!
This role is responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and operations of the organization, ensuring high-impact programs, financial sustainability, and strong community engagement. The CEO will lead a dedicated team, collaborate with the Board of Directors, and serve as the primary ambassador for the Club’s mission to inspire and empower youth in Bend.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic and Operational Oversight
•    Ensure organizational stability by managing daily operations and overseeing key programs.
•    Align short-term and long-term strategic goals with the Club’s mission and priorities.
•    Identify challenges and implement solutions to maintain steady progress and growth.
2. Financial Oversight & Sustainability
•    Collaborate with the Board and finance team to develop and review budgets, manage cash flow, and approve key expenditures.
•    Oversee financial compliance, biweekly payroll reviews, and financial authorizations.
•    Ensure financial health through resource allocation, risk assessment, and fiscal accountability
3. Community & External Relations
•    Serve as the public face of the organization, representing Boys & Girls Club of Bend at events and in local partnerships.
•    Strengthen relationships with donors, corporate partners, and community stakeholders to ensure ongoing engagement and funding support.
•    Advocate for youth development initiatives at both the State and Local levels and position the Club as a leader in Bend’s nonprofit sector.
4. Staff and Team Management
•    Provide leadership and guidance to leadership team and 50+ total staff in peak season, conducting regular check-ins and one-on-one meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
•    Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work culture.
•    Support talent development and staff retention strategies to maintain operational excellence.
5. Resource Development
•    Work closely with the fundraising and development teams to secure grants, sponsorships, and individual contributions.
•    Oversee donor engagement strategies to ensure strong retention and new funding opportunities.
6. Board Collaboration & Governance
•    Partner with the Board to develop and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring strong organizational governance.
•    Provide regular updates and reports on operations, financial performance, and program impact.
•    Support Board committees in decision-making, advocacy, and leadership planning

What You Will Bring…
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field. 
•    A minimum of five years of experience leading a similar sized organization.
•    Proven executive leadership experience with a strong passion for youth serving organizations- preferably in nonprofit management, education, or youth development.
•    Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and vision-setting, ensuring long-term organizational growth and mission alignment.
•    Extensive experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing grants, sponsorships, and donor partnerships.  Previous capital campaign experience preferred.
•    Operational leadership skills, including financial oversight, program management, and process improvement for efficiency and sustainability.
•    Strong people management abilities, with experience leading teams, fostering collaboration, professional development and building a positive organizational culture.
•    Community outreach and engagement expertise, serving as a visible leader and an advocate for youth while cultivating external partnerships.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities—engaging effectively with staff, stakeholders, and the broader community.
•    Public speaking and advocacy skills—comfortable serving as a spokesperson for the Club.
•    Flexible, adaptable, and skilled in managing dynamic and evolving organizational needs.
