POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Project Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Regional Community Investment (RCI) and Field Marketing teams by coordinating and triaging day-to-day requests from stores and internal stakeholders. This role is a crucial part of ensuring our marketing operations run smoothly, from helping stores navigate our tools and resources to facilitating cross-functional collaboration with accounting and creative services. Ideal for someone who is organized, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced company. This position offers direct experience in how this executes impactful local marketing at scale to drive company growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS

30% - Act as the first point of contact for inbound store marketing requests, fielding questions related to sponsorships, creative needs, and general support, and strategically triaging communication across marketing teams via email, phone, and internal platforms.
30% - Support stores with invoicing and payment questions including helping stores with our payment portals and partnering with Store Accounting as needed. Process invoicing for both the Regional Community Investment and Field Marketing Team(s) as needed.
20% - Assist stores with using our online marketing hub for graphics and printing requests, navigating payment questions, and to answer questions about marketing teams, programs and support.
20% - Contribute to additional marketing projects as needed and assist in evolving key programs and initiatives across the Department. Bring an eye for efficiency and continuous improvement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Educational/Experience Requirements:
1-3 years prior marketing experience. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business a plus.
Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Google G Suite and other applications (MS Office, etc.).
General Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, including project planning and management
- 1-3 years of prior marketing experience
- Ability to build relationships and communicate successfully with multiple departments
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of keyboard and telephone, ability to operate standard office equipment. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
