Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Sisters, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $20/hour + IRS-standard mileage reimbursement
About the Role:
We’re seeking a personable and mature IT Support Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with prior administrative experience who enjoys helping people and solving technical issues. You’ll be the first line of support for helpdesk calls, providing both remote and onsite assistance, and escalating more complex issues when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filter and respond to helpdesk calls and tickets
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for office equipment and computer systems
- Escalate higher-level technical issues as necessary
- Maintain high standards of service while delivering excellent customer support
- Document support activities and resolutions clearly and accurately
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of prior administrative or IT support experience
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
- Working knowledge of office equipment (computers, printers, phones, etc.)
- Comfortable sitting for long periods and lifting to 25 lbs
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for local travel (mileage reimbursed)
- Maturity, coachability, and genuine enjoyment of working with people
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
