Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Bend, Oregon
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-time)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a foundational-level bookkeeping role focused on maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and managing invoicing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills and a high sense of integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing payments
- Enter financial data into QuickBooks
- Invoice clients and manage accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP)
- Perform basic reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of reconciliation and AP/AR
- Previous experience in foundation or nonprofit accounting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education may substitute for experience)
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
