Location: Sisters, Oregon
Employment Type: Full or Part time
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Hours: 20–40 hours per week
Job Summary:
The Courtesy Clerk plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service by assisting customers with their shopping experience, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting store operations. This position requires a friendly, helpful attitude and a commitment to creating a positive shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with questions or concerns.
- Bag groceries efficiently and carefully, ensuring items are packed appropriately.
- Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when needed.
- Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of store entrances, restrooms, and other public areas.
- Restock shelves, displays, and bagging stations as needed.
- Support store team with light cleaning, sweeping, and organizing tasks.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Friendly, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
