Apartment Complex Maintenance Technician
Location: 45-Unit Apartment Complex – Bend, OR
Employment Type: Part-Time
Hourly Pay: $20–$22
Overview
We’re looking for a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our 45-unit apartment community safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys a variety of hands-on tasks, and can independently handle general repairs, basic plumbing and electrical work, appliance troubleshooting, and routine property upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs, including basic plumbing and electrical tasks that do not require licensed professionals.
- Complete paint touchups and maintain the appearance of units and common areas.
- Handle general groundskeeping to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and attractive.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic appliance issues.
- Use general handyman skills for a wide range of maintenance needs throughout the complex.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs as part of daily duties.
- Maintain and properly use basic tools such as drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and other essential equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in property maintenance or general handyman work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting.
- Strong reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Must provide basic tools needed for day-to-day maintenance tasks.
