Yard & Warehouse Associate – Forklift Operator
Location: Bend
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Pay: $22
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Yard & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves loading materials using a forklift, performing receiving and stocking duties, and delivering exceptional customer service in our yard. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, solid knowledge of building materials, and the ability to maintain a well-run and safe yard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials using a forklift and pallet jack
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory accurately
- Provide outstanding customer service in the yard and warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Operate basic computer systems for inventory and order tracking
- Ensure yard operations run efficiently and safely
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse experience and 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Working knowledge of building materials and products
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
