Senior Quality Engineer – Redmond, Oregon
We are partnering with a top-notch Central Oregon employer to fill a Senior Quality Engineer position. This is a contract role for 6+ months with the ability to go long-term.

What You Get to Do!
- Lead quality initiatives across production and product development
- Develop and implement process control, validation, and inspection methods
- Design and execute experiments to identify process variation and improve outcomes
- Analyze data using statistical process control (SPC) to drive decisions
- Investigate non-conformances and lead corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Support design control, risk management, and regulatory compliance efforts
- Build and maintain key documentation (DHF, DMRs, technical files, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external labs on product testing
- Act as a quality leader and resource across cross-functional teams
- Take ownership of quality systems and influence real change
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and suppliers
- Be part of a team that values accountability and continuous improvement
- Contribute to product development and regulatory strategy
- Step into a leadership role, even without direct reports
- Help build and refine processes in a growing environment
What You Will Bring…
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Quality or Engineering
- Strong experience with quality systems and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with CAPA, SPC, process validation, and root cause analysis
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing teams
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
- Preferred experience in medical devices, pharma, or regulated industries
