🌲 Yard Assistant – Bend, Oregon
📍 Location: Bend, OR
💵 Pay: $22–$24 per hour DOE
📅 Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
🔧 Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Yard Assistant to support our truck and lapidary shop teams with daily maintenance, shop organization, and material handling. This is a hands-on role with full training provided, including equipment safety and future advancement opportunities.
⭐ What You’ll Do
- 🛠 Assist team members with shop maintenance and cleaning
- 🚚 Support truck and lapidary operations
- 📦 Lift and move 50+ lb bags of fertilizer, bark, turf, and soil products
- 🧰 Use basic hand tools, wheelbarrows, and other yard equipment
- 🏗 Train on forklifts and material-handling equipment (training provided)
- 🚗 Perform parts runs in town as needed
📌 Requirements
- ✔ Consistent attendance — our team shows up on time and goes home on time
- ✔ Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- ✔ Willingness to learn and follow safety training
- ✔ Valid driver’s license
- ✔ Clean driving record (required for insurance and parts runs)
