Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking an Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative to join a growing electrical and industrial distribution team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and providing exceptional support to customers. You will work with contractors, manufacturers, and industrial clients, helping them find the products and solutions they need to be successful.
Experience in the electrical industry or with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation products is highly preferred; however, a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and manage customer quotes
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Follow up on orders, quotes, and product availability
- Partner with outside sales representatives and internal departments to meet customer needs
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- Stay current on products, services, and industry developments
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and internal processes
Qualifications

- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Two or more years of experience in the electrical industry or related field
- Experience with Rockwell Automation and/or Allen Bradley products
- Industrial automation or controls experience is a plus
Working Conditions
- Professional office and warehouse environment

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
