- Job Title: Service Technician (Trailer Repair & Maintenance)
- Location: Mt Joy, PA
- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Full-Time | Day Shift)
- Pay Rate: $21.00 – $26.00 / hour (DOE)
Job Summary Seeking a mechanical Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trailers and transportation equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trailers and components.
- Install and fix panels, flooring, doors, wiring, brakes, valves, and wheel assemblies.
- Read work orders, document repairs accurately, and maintain a safe workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate professionally with clients/vendors.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Mechanical repair, technician work, or carpentry experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, hand/power tool proficiency, and basic computer skills.
- Requirements: Must own basic hand tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen.
