Packer-Produce Schedule:
Rotating Weeks 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
$16hr
Work alongside experienced Packers and learn how to handle, grade, package, and label fresh produce. Whether you find a passion in Packing or you want to learn new skills in the business. Location: Ephrata, PA (On site) What you get to do Efficiently package and sort product following packing procedures Meet required quality standards for finished products Ensure that product is labeled correctly Maintain and adhere to food safety policies and practices Follow safe work practices, and maintain a safe work area Occasional overtime required What you bring You enjoy working on a team and interacting with others You can identify and distinguish colors for grading produce You have good hand dexterity to sort produceDirections: : Please enter the building at the visitor entrance by the flagpole. You will ask for Recruitment when you arrive. A recruiter will meet you in the front lobby. Your meeting will take about 15-30 minutes and will include a tour of the main facility and a short information session on what to expect on your first day.Expected results : Keep up with the utility workers who are loading the produce, work hard, work as a team
Overtime policy : Rotating Weeks Depending on team. See public drive.
Experience required : Warehouse, light industrial
Physical requirements : Lift 30lbs throughout the shift, stand a lot, bend, lift, push
Equipment used : Boxes, Grading machine
Travel involved :
Skills required : Packing, QC -Must complete online food safety training first
Qualities required : DRESS CODE Utility Associates (use walkie stacker): Must all wear steel-toed shoes. Please inform candidates of this prior to starting. Packers are not required to wear steel-toed boots. Associates can wear regular casual, work appropriate clothing
