Machine OperatorPay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Location: Manufacturing/Production Facility Employment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manufacturing equipment, preparing materials, monitoring production quality, packaging finished products, and completing required production documentation. The ideal candidate has previous machine operation experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate production machinery according to job specifications.Prepare and cut cores for production runs.Perform machine changeovers, job setups, and splices.Ensure master rolls are available and properly loaded for each job.Monitor production and maintain quality standards throughout the run.Weigh, package, and label finished products.Accurately complete production and operator paperwork.Meet established productivity and efficiency targets.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly housekeeping tasks.Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, manufacturing, and workplace conduct.Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.3-5 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documents, and correspondence.Basic math skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.PreferredForklift experience or certification.Experience with Microsoft Office applications.Experience using Sage or similar manufacturing/ERP software.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.Frequent use of hands for handling materials and operating equipment.Ability to maintain close attention to detail and perform visual inspections.Work EnvironmentThis is a hands-on manufacturing position located on the production floor.
