Production Pour Crew Member
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour, depending on experience (DOE)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Overtime as needed)Department: Precast ProductionReports To: Plant Manager / Plant ForemanEmployment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Production Pour Crew Member to join our precast concrete production team. In this role, you will be responsible for pouring, finishing, and preparing concrete products while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate values safety, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in producing high-quality products that meet production standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pour and finish concrete in molds and forms according to production specifications.
Operate and maintain hand tools, screeds, and other concrete finishing equipment.
Inspect forms and materials prior to pouring to identify and address potential issues.
Assist other production teams and departments as needed to support daily operations.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular physical activity, including:
Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the workday.
Occasional crouching, crawling, and climbing.
Working in a loud, active industrial environment.
Exposure to heat, dust, concrete materials, and varying production conditions.
Qualifications
Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Concrete finishing experience or general construction experience preferred.
Ability to identify and address potential issues prior to concrete placement.
Forklift operating experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Required Training & Safety Compliance
Successfully complete Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training.
Adhere to all company safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots.
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Current forklift certification.
Previous experience in precast concrete manufacturing or related construction trades.
