Turnkey Mechanic Location: Manheim, PAShift: 1st Shift | Monday - Thursday | 4:00 AM - 2:00 PMPay: $25.00+/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Turnkey Mechanic to join our team. This hands-on position is responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems related to fuel tanks, fueling systems, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical work, conduit installation and bending, pipe threading, welding, mechanical assembly, and field installation activities. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. Essential Responsibilities Install and assemble electrical and mechanical components for fuel tanks, fueling systems, and related equipment. Run, bend, and install electrical conduit according to project specifications and applicable codes. Pull wire, terminate electrical connections, and assist with electrical system troubleshooting. Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly of piping systems. Assist with tank installations and equipment setup both in the shop and at customer locations as required. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings. Perform mechanical assembly, equipment repairs, and general maintenance tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, threading equipment, and testing instruments safely and effectively. Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication as needed. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and implement corrective actions. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment safely (training provided if required). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and project teams. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or related trades. Ability to run and bend electrical conduit. Experience with pipe threading and pipe installation. Basic welding and fabrication experience. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Industrial, manufacturing, fuel system, or tank installation experience. Knowledge of electrical codes and standards. Previous experience with fueling systems, pumps, or storage tanks. Forklift, crane, or equipment operation experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying positions throughout the day. Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights when necessary. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work in confined spaces when required. Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a manufacturing and construction environment.
