Warehouse Associate / Forklift OperatorPay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Warehouse / Production FacilityPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is heavily focused on sit-down forklift operation and material handling, ensuring raw materials are delivered to production, finished goods are prepared for shipment, and warehouse operations run efficiently.The ideal candidate will have strong forklift experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesForklift Operations (Primary Responsibility)Safely operate a sit-down forklift throughout the shift.Transport raw material rolls from storage areas to production equipment.Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.Pick and prepare pallets for customer shipments.Replenish production supplies and materials as needed.Follow all forklift safety procedures and warehouse traffic guidelines.Warehouse & Shipping DutiesInspect finished pallets for quality and accuracy.Complete and sign off on required shipping and production documentation.Stretch wrap, secure, and prepare pallets for shipment.Receive returned materials (RMAs) and complete associated paperwork.Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization.Safely use utility knives and warehouse tools as required.Facility Maintenance & SupportManage scrap materials, pallets, and recycling activities.Operate baling equipment for recyclable materials.Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly housekeeping tasks.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, manufacturing, and workplace conduct.Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED.3-5 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.Previous sit-down forklift experience required.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Ability to read and complete documentation accurately.Basic math and inventory counting skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.PreferredForklift certification or the ability to become certified.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience loading and unloading trucks and managing warehouse inventory.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.Close vision and attention to detail for inspections and documentation.Work EnvironmentThis is a hands-on warehouse position, not an office role. Employees will spend the majority of their time operating a forklift, moving materials, handling shipments, and supporting production operations.
