Dock Loader/UnloaderOxford, PAPayStarting Pay: $23.22 per hourIncrease to $24.44 per hour after 90 days, based on performance, attendance, and adherence to safety standardsSchedule2nd ShiftScheduled days off will be either:Â Monday and Friday, orTuesday and SaturdaySchedule is determined by business needs and may vary accordingly.Training: New hires will begin their first day on 1st Shift for orientation and training before moving to their regular 2nd Shift schedule on the following day.Job SummaryWe are seeking dependable and safety-focused individuals to join our warehouse and distribution team on 2nd Shift. This position is responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, moving product throughout the dock area, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. The role involves consistent physical labor in a fast-paced environment and requires employees to remain active throughout their shift.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trailers efficiently and safely.Move bread crates and other products using large oversized dollies.Stage, organize, and transport product within the dock and warehouse areas.Verify product movement and maintain accurate handling procedures.Follow all safety policies, procedures, and warehouse best practices.Maintain clean and organized work areas.Work effectively in a fast-paced production and distribution environment.Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.Assist with other warehouse and dock-related duties as assigned.RequirementsAbility to perform repetitive physical labor throughout the entire shift.Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull, and lift continuously during the workday.Ability to safely maneuver large oversized dollies loaded with product.Ability to lift and move bread crates and other materials repeatedly.Strong focus on workplace safety and safe lifting techniques.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.Physical DemandsContinuous walking and standing throughout the shift.Frequent pushing and pulling of heavily loaded dollies.Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching.Ability to perform manual labor in a warehouse and loading dock environment for extended periods.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, dock, or material handling experience preferred but not required.Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment is a plus.
