Install Crew Member | 5:30am Start
Essential Job Functions:
• Rides with install crew team members to jobsite in company crew truck. Occasionally may drive the company vehicle.
• Takes direction from Install Foreman to complete stone prep work including shoveling stone, raking stone, setting blocks, checking height, pushing a screed, running compaction equipment, and assisting foreman with layout measurements and setting corners & perimeter lines.
• Follows instructions provided by foreman for setting walls which consists of placement of walls, utilizing caulk gun to seal joints and corners, tightening bolts with wrenches, checking level & plumb, assisting foreman in verifying dimensions, climbing ladders, and pushing walls with a digging iron.
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining worksite, tools, and company vehicle.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds frequently, 80 pounds occasionally.
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling and twisting constantly.
• Read tape measure accurately and consistently.
• Use of fine motor skills to control machinery/tools frequently.
• Read, write, and speak effectively in English.
• Concentrate, understand and communicate in noisy and active work environment.
• Able to understand and follow verbal instructions, particularly in construction drawings.
• Able to understand and provide hand signals for crane & rigging operations.
• Provide good verbal communication to team members and customers on site.
• Ability to work outdoors and ride in company vehicle in all weather elements throughout the year.
• Able to tolerate constant exposure to noise from operation of heavy equipment and power tools.
• Possess a current/valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card in order to operate our crew vehicles.
