Job Full Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to support daily production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing metal chips and coolant, performing basic equipment maintenance, and operating a forklift as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Remove and dispose of metal chips from production equipment.
Monitor, maintain, and replenish machine coolant levels.
Clean and maintain work areas to support safe and efficient operations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with minor equipment repairs.
Operate a forklift to transport materials, chips, coolant, and other supplies as required.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of waste materials.
Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Assist with other maintenance and facility support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred.
Forklift experience or the ability to become forklift certified.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Experience working with CNC machining environments.
Knowledge of coolant systems and metal chip handling is a plus.
