Direct traffic safely through construction zones Use stop/slow signs to control vehicle flow Communicate with crew members about traffic conditions Watch for hazards to protect workers and drivers Set up and take down traffic control signs and cones Stay alert and visible at all times Follow safety rules and local traffic laws Assist with basic site safety when needed
Travel involved : Yes, they will drive own car to job sites.
Expected results : Must committ to entire shifts/schedules. Complete an orientation.
Skills required : Construction zone knowledge, able to stand all day. Staying calm in tense situations.
Physical requirements : o Need to be physically fit enough to stand and walk for 8-10 hours per day o Valid DL with DMV check
