Job Description: : Assembler Filter Production 1st Shift Mon-Fri 5am-320pm 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 320pm-130am $17.25-$18.25hr Position Summary The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling various types of filters according to production specifications. This role involves hands-on manufacturing tasks such as assembling components, applying materials, inspecting finished products, and supporting efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assemble filters and components to meet production and quality standards. Perform production tasks such as stapling, wrapping pleats, capping, applying gaskets, spot welding, seaming, spinning, cutting materials, and applying adhesive or plastisol. Inspect products during and after production to ensure quality and identify defects. Complete production reports and quality documentation accurately. Use basic computer systems for work orders and inventory updates. Assist with material handling, packaging, and stacking finished products. Perform basic repairs and adjustments to filters as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards). Participate in continuous improvement efforts, team problem-solving, and lean initiatives. Support inventory counts and other operational needs as assigned. Work Environment & Interaction No supervisory responsibilities. Regular collaboration with team members, management, engineering, and other departments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work overtime as business needs require. Commitment to working safely and following all environmental, health, and safety guidelines. Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. Basic math skills (including fractions and decimals) for measurements and reporting. Ability to use measuring tools and follow detailed instructions. Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on productivity and continuous improvement. Additional Requirements Must have steel toe boots. They will provide PPE Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and support a fast-paced production environment.
