Garage Door Installer / Service Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Garage Door Installer / Service
Technician. This position is open to both entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and
experienced technicians. The ideal candidate has experience using hand and power tools, a strong
attendance record, and a stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
Position Details
• Entry-level pay starting at $20.00 per hour.
• Experienced technician pay based on experience (DOE).
• Full-time day shift schedule.
• Training available for motivated entry-level candidates.
Key Responsibilities
• Install residential and commercial garage doors and related components.
• Repair and replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and openers.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete service calls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Construction, automotive, maintenance, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
• Stable work history with demonstrated job longevity preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver license preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Ability to work on ladders and at varying heights.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform physical labor throughout the day.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
