Construction Laborer / General Laborer / Refractory Installer
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated and dependable Construction Laborers and General Laborers for an industrial refractory installation role. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. This position involves applying ceramic lining materials, operating equipment, and performing physical labor in industrial environments while maintaining strict safety standards.
Position Details
- Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
- Location: Glassport, PA
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Training provided with no experience required
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and apply spray ceramic cement lining to industrial pipes.
- Operate and maintain lining equipment used in industrial and construction environments.
- Ensure quality workmanship while following all safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Work in industrial settings, including confined spaces when required.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Travel for up to three hours to job sites when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be clean-shaven to maintain a proper respirator seal.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and industrial environments.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Concrete pumping, nozzle operation, or heavy labor experience is preferred but not required.
