Commercial HVAC Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance-related HVAC issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service calls.
- Troubleshoot heating, cooling, and ventilation system problems.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs.
- Provide professional customer service while working independently in the field.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a HVAC Technician or Commercial HVAC Technician required.
- Experience with commercial heating and cooling systems preferred.
- Valid driver license required.
- Ability to work independently and manage service assignments.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, squat, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
- Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding HVAC service and installation work.
Preferred Experience
- Commercial HVAC installation experience.
- Preventative maintenance program experience.
- Experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- EPA certification and other industry credentials are a plus.
