Program Coordinator
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator oversees the Tax program across Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties. This role manages site operations, volunteer coordination, compliance, reporting, and community outreach. The coordinator also provides administrative support to the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage several sites, schedules, supplies, and ensure IRS compliance.
Recruit, train, and support volunteers; maintain IRS Advanced–Site Coordinator certification.
Lead community outreach, marketing, and partnership engagement.
Track outcomes and prepare reports for grants, leadership, and partners.
Provide administrative support, meeting coordination, and cross-departmental communication outside tax season.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience accepted.
2–3 years of program coordination or nonprofit experience.
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Experience working with volunteers and community partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or data-reporting experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work evenings/weekends during tax season.
Pay based on expereince $17- $19.
