Job Title: Part-Time Retail Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Part-Time Retail Associate to join our client's team at a local antique store. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales transactions, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, has basic math skills, and appreciates unique and vintage items.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and offer assistance as needed

Provide helpful information about merchandise and assist customers with selections

Accurately total purchases using a calculator

Calculate and apply sales tax to transactions

Determine and apply discounts for sale items

Process cash and/or card payments

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales floor

Assist with light merchandising and restocking (no heavy lifting required)
Qualifications:

Basic math skills and comfort using a calculator

Strong customer service and communication skills

Friendly, approachable, and reliable

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
