About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a variety of machinery in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators and wheel loaders
• Safely maneuver equipment on uneven terrain, including crawling on top of material piles with excavators
• Push, stack, load, and move materials efficiently and safely
• Operate equipment similar to:
  • John Deere 544J
  • Volvo L110
• Work with processing equipment such as:
  • Trommel screens
  • Shaker screens
  • Belt-driven stackers
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Follow all site safety rules and contribute to a clean, organized work area

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience
• Proven ability to operate excavators and loaders confidently
• Experience working on material piles and handling bulk materials
• Familiarity with screening equipment and stackers is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in recycling, aggregate, construction, or similar industries
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Valid driver’s license; equipment certifications a bonus
