Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized showroom. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and purchasing decisions
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive customer relationships
- Develop and maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions accurately
- Process sales transactions and handle cash, credit, and other payment methods
- Stock, organize, and maintain showroom displays and shelves
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
- Ensure the sales counter and showroom remain clean, professional, and welcoming
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Support team members with daily operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail, counter sales, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
