Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a temporary Make Ready Technician for a local apartment community. The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for ensuring apartments are move-in ready by performing general repairs, cleaning, painting, and light maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic repairs such as patching holes, replacing light fixtures, changing locks, and fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues.
- Paint and touch up walls, doors, and trim as needed.
- Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants.
- Assist with light carpentry, appliance checks, and minor HVAC tasks under supervision.
- Report larger maintenance concerns to the property manager or maintenance supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or make-ready experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Reliable transportation required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm
Pay: $17.00/hour
