Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Bastrop, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $16/hour
Language Requirement: Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Warehouse Associate to join our rapidly expanding team in Bastrop, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our valued customers by ensuring they receive the necessary materials to help their businesses thrive. As a Warehouse Associate, you will work in a bright, clean, and safe environment. Your ability to thrive in a high-energy workplace alongside dedicated team members will be essential. This position involves performing both manual and clerical duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packaging and shipping items, and managing warehouse stock.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Independently load, unload, and move materials within or near the worksite.
- Fill customer orders and issue materials and supplies as requested.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies safely and efficiently.
- Accurately pack and ship customer orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Follow all safety and security policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be bilingual; fluent in both English and Spanish to facilitate communication.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
No electrical meters will have live electrical current running during the time of assembly. This position is an even mix of basic assembly and warehouse duties in a non-climate-controlled environment. Physical workload can be lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, stooping, and using hand tools to complete builds.
